We have a unit at one of our shops that has blown out 5 or 6 of these couplers in the past 2 or three months. we have checked all the alignments and have replaced the hydraulic pump. Went through 2 couplers since we replaced pump.

Anyone have any suggestions or had the same problem please let me know.

The two usual suspects are alignment or some type of hydraulic issue that is causing some crazy load on it.

What is your system pressure?
What is the flow under high idle?

Any other noticeable issues?

We found that the unit was out of alignment. Frame works that the engine and pump bolts to was not bent. We loosened the 8 bolts that hold engine to frame and moved engine just enough to line back up. The 2 couplers were off maybe 1/8 inch. Looks like it might have been hit and moved engine in frame.
