We cuurently have 3 T500's 2 are broke with the same issue.. They will run for 20 seconds to 3 minutes at full throttle then quit like they are out of fuel. We have changed filters, changed fuel, added fuel conditioner. We have had this problem before and was never sure we found out what was going on.. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? Any suggestions?

I had one do this before after checking the fuel pump to make sure i was getting fuel, I found that one of the wires to the fuel shutoff solenoid was melted and the solenoid was bad. I replaced the solenoid and havent had a problem since!

If your pump is working and your fuel shutoff solenoid is good and working properly maybe your injector pump has an issue

Which fuel filter did you replace, the spin-on (MDA00060), the in-line (MDA00059) or both? If you did not replace the in-line fuel filter, I would suggest trying that. Have you tried removing the fuel filler cap (or loosening it) to see if there is a vacuum being created in the fuel tank? Try those two things and let us know if that solves the problem. If not, please call or email us directly and let's get these machines going!

Good Luck,
John

Hi,
We have this problem quite often. Normally it is the pickup in the tank being blocked by various bits of crap. Field fix is to blow back down the fuel pick up line, but ultimately you'll need to clean out your tanks.

I just had one that had less than 200 hrs on it and found that the fuel shutoff solenoid had a bad connection in the plug on the solenoid side. I had to replace the solenoid to fix the problem. BUT, this was after a full filter change, tank clean and inspect with a camera.
