Do you guys sell the capacitors for generators? If so, do you have a list of part numbers for them?

Who knows! Somewhere a fellow who is far more intelligent than I made that decision. But I must admit, I am scratching my head as well.

We've recently created a technical bulletin (TB79) for selecting the correct replacement capacitor for Mecc-Alte generators used in McElroy machines. It is important to select the correct capacitor as it will affect the generator's output voltage.

The best way to determine the correct capacitor for a generator is to determine the generator's type - this will be a field on the generator nameplate - and then select the appropriate capacitor from the table in tech bulletin 79.

Tech bulletin 79 should be on the distributor website shortly and we will work on getting it attached to the assemblies where the generators are used for access via McElroy Parts Finder.
