The remote transmitter and the radio receiver on the machine should be linked, and there is no way for the user to break, or re-establish that link. The first thing to be determined is whether the the transmitter and radio receiver are connected or not. There are a couple of versions of the receiver box, but you should see an indication of power and/or activity. What do you see on the receiver box? If the receiver has power, but is not showing signs of activity, please check the transmitter battery (or batteries) with a volt meter to make sure that it has ample power. Also, if you have not already done so, check the fuses with an ohm meter to make sure the simple things are in good shape.
If all of these checks do not reveal a problem, you may have to send the radio components in for repair. Any time you send a radio component in for repair, always send both the transmitter and receiver. Do not send the nylon strap or antenna, only the transmitter and receiver. Also, there is an older style and a newer style. The older style has a rechargeable battery pack in the transmitter, and the newer style uses regular batteries as you would purchase at a hardware store. You may want to distinguish which type you have when discussing any issues involving the radio.
