I am seeing nowhere, after looking everywhere on line, how to calculate the necessary foot pounds needed to fuse on a manual pitbull using McElroys torque wrench adapter for small pitbulls. I have the correct length torque wrench. How is one suposed to figure out the ft/lb reading? Do I use, for nexample; 4" IPS pipe, DR 11. Wall thickness of .42", x pie, x 75(InterFacialPressure)?
This gets me approx 100. Is this my foot/pounds reading? It seems like an awfull lot of force when I try it...
Please don't answer with the bead size, as I would like to know how to do this calculation.
