I have just purchased items to build a wooden handle iron. I put the wooden handle (414701) over the heater cover plate weldment (214601) I then try to screw in the Heater handle threaded adapter (415101) and it only will thread on about 1/2" and not all the way. Is there a trick to this? I have purchased 8 of these for building and cannot make any of them work as a matter of fact one is already ruined. Please help or can I send these items back to you and have you all thread them on the wooden handle?

Thanks David Salls

If you take them to the distributor where you bought them from, they should be able to get you taken care of.
