A good Customer of mine has a beyond ancient 28 with an electric facer 819901 and his electric motor keeps burning out so he has tasked me with doing a hydraulic motor conversion on it...is this something that can be done to an electric facer? |

Not without significant modification and issues. The older units has a smaller motor as they did not have to generate the flow to run the carriage and facer at the same time. The newer units were designed with that in mind. Others who have tried this conversion have run into tank return issues as well. They were not designed to support the volume that the facer uses. |
