I noticed as I was struggling to put a new set of 30" inserts into a t900 that you guys changed the hole size from 1" down to a 1/4" that helped with holding the insert so you dont squash your fingers. Is this a new design or did someone forget to enlarge the hole because it is a safety concern and someone will lose a finger.

I am assuming you are referring to the 30" OD fabricated inserts, set #3629701. The 1-1/2" diameter hole is still called out on these and should be on all new production inserts; however, this was added as a feature around 12/2000. Is it possible that the inserts you are seeing were produced prior to this?

the part # is different it is 3603515 on the part sticker on pallet but is stamped 3603501 into insert as well as the 32" have the same small hole. These are "brand new " inserts that came with a T900
