Thanks for the repair notes on the older 618 facer body but now please look into the T618 facer bodies T1802002. When the bolts work their way loose the body gets worn and or the mounting base breaks off. Please see attached picts

Is there a fix for when the tabs are broken entirely off or is replacing the facer body the only option? If the tabs are missing, the attachment arm mounts cockeyed therefore causing teh front end of facer to not drop onto guide rod......

There isn't currently a factory fix for this; however, we are working on designing something that should help.

What we've heard of some folks doing is drilling and tapping the sides of the body to bolt on steel plates to the sides to align the guide rod support bracket. I'm not certain of how well that is working but it has merit.

Just to update this,
TB124 was released on Nov. 29, 2016 on the availability of a repair kit that adds a spacer between the facer body and facer attachment arm on 412 and 618 carriages. The spacer is used to repair the facer body when the tabs on the body of the facer have been broken as a result of loose mounting bolts. Please refer to part number AT1829601 for the 412 and 618 Facer Body Attachment Repair Kit.
