Hi, I'm having trouble diagnosing an issue with either our pump or something else. I am inside a warehouse it doesn't reach higher than 75 degrees or so usually.
I have the pump set to change at 300psi and the system is at 900psi. My problem lies with the heat being generated and losing pressure according to the system gauge. It will drop to 220 and all the lines except the manifold will get hot up to 130 degrees F. This happens after about 30 minutes with facer on and off. The facer vibrates and continues to get worse as time goes on. I'm currently using a 32 weight hyd oil. Everything goes back to normal when the oil cools down.
When bypassing the facer it shows 200psi system pressure, is this normal? My gauge on the relief valve is reading differently than my gauge on my manifold at max. IE when facer is running 300psi on system and 340-350psi on manifold.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I think we might need to speak on the phone to get to the bottom of this. Please call Tech Support at (918) 831-9224. There are a couple of us monitoring the phone calls, but whoever answers the phone should be able to help you with this.
The gauge near the relief valve should read 300 psi when the facer is running, and 900 psi when the facer is not running. The gauge by your manifold will read pressure corresponding to the settings of the valves on the manifold block.
