Where can I get engine drawings and parts for a kohler command 18 engine? I can't find it on your website and there are a million engines on kohler's website. They are all just a little bit different.

Help please!

Unfortunately, we can't stock every component for every engine that we use. We do try to offer the most commonly needed components of the engines but we are limited by the logistical reality of stocking every item. We try to keep this in mind when choosing outsourced components (such as engines) that we use in our fusion machines. Kohler's support is top notch. They have rebuild and owners manuals free on their site. They also list parts drawings by OEM entities that use their engines in products.

1. There is a little trick to this. Put your mouse over the above link and right click it and open it in a new tab.
2. Then, just to the right of the login box there is an option to enter as guest. Click that.
3. A tab may open that asks you to download something. Hit cancel if it does.
4. Leave that window open, come back to this page, and repeat step one.

That should take you directly to their "McElroy Pipe Fuser" page. Have a look around.

That is perfect. I needed a dipstick and a stator!

The specification number is CH18-62581

I've had some different experiences getting their website to work. It's a bit confusing and I think they keep changing it. What has worked latest for me is the following:

1) Click the original link: http://www.kohlerplus.com/model.asp?Mod ... GroupID=64 (if you use Chrome like I do, or some other browser, you can open it in a new tab, then copy that URL and paste it into your address bar in an Internet Explorer Window).
2) I haven't gotten any dialogue boxes the last few times I've done this. You should see the agreement page. Check the "I AGREE" box then select "ENTER AS GUEST"
3) This brings up a list of engine families. Select the "Command PRO(R) Twin CH/CV17-25, CH/CV620-750" Engine
4) Select "CH18" from the list. This should be the top one
5) Navigate through the pages on the next list until you see our spec (CH18-62581). For me this is at the top on page 6. You'll know it because it says "MCELROY" under the OEM column. Select that Specification ID
6) Select whichever parts group you are interested in and enjoy.

NEW METHOD (They keep changing the website)

1. go to: http://www.kohlerenginesparts.com
2. enter your zip code and click "Enter"
3. click "Full Parts Catalog" at the top (if you didn't do step 2 clicking that tab won't do anything)
3. type "62581" in the Spec No box, click "SEARCH".
4. Our engine is shown to the right, click "VIEW" next to the entry

This brings up the assembly options which you can browse for your parts.
