On page 2-4 of the Operators Manual (#801601 04/02) it states under Relief Valve "The pressure is set at 800psi and is sufficient for most pipe".
On page 3-3 under Pump Motor it states" Set the system pressure to 900 psi for most pipe sizes and SDR'S.

The question is what pressure do I use?

thanks
jeff

I will ask our people about clarifying what is in the manual. We set it them at 900 psi. It is true that one almost never needs that much force capability. However, the motor is very capable of maintaining that pressure. It is very important not to set them higher than 900 or below 500. You can go to 1200 for a short time if needed but if you run the machine at that pressure for very long the oil will overheat.

I will add a post with our hydraulic specifications for our machines for your reference.
