Looking for help. We have a dyna-mc ep and I cannot get the system to bleed out the air. The hyd. filter came loose and wasn't noticed by the operator unit it had run low on Hyd. fluid. I filled the reservoir and now cannot bleed the air out of the system. I have tried several time to bleed the cylinders and at first got some air. Now I get no air just fluid but the cylinders still chug and I see a dramatic lose in pressure....It will cycle fine for three shifts of the carriage control and then chug in open and close and drop pressure from 600 psi to 75 psi. I feel that it is in the HPU unit and not getting back to the cylinders for some reason. Any help of suggestions would be great. I'm stuck!!

This may be a problem with the HPU. I have ran several diagnostics and may be getting some kind of bleed back in the enclosed system. The HPU will not maintain Hydraulic pressure during several shifts of the carriage control and eventually drops out to 0 with a click from a possible solenoid. At this point the system pressure will not reinstate until I turn the HPU off and then on again, essentially resetting the solenoid/system. Anyone seen this before???

This is not something I am familiar with.

I have had issues bleeding the system as air will get trapped in the hoses. Have you tried hooking the hoses together to and activating the carriage for a minute or so both directions and then try the carriage again?
