Hi there! I currently have an older model 1236 machine (C14299) that we broke down to change out the seal kit on and upon reassembly the heater is not working. I have now tried two different K2 contactors. The RTD is reading the correct resistance of 109 ohms at room temp. The only thing now I can think of is something got moved around when the control box was detached from the bracket. We have checked all of the connections on the terminal block and that all seems good. We have full voltage all the way down to the K2 from both the 240V leads as well as the A1 and A2 wires.
My question is how do I know if the potentiometer has gone bad? The RTD looks good. we have 240V coming in. We have voltage (178V and 80V) coming out of the potentiometer heading to the terminal block and switch.
